What is I-Lasik?

I-Lasik combines the two most advanced LASIK technologies for 100% blade free vision correction procedure approved by NASA.
Why should I choose I-Lasik rather than Lasik?

LASIK flaps created by a blade introduce higher and lower-order aberrations to the eye.  I-Lasik flaps create far fewer aberrations than blade flaps.

What is the right age to have laser vision correction? How long does my vision need to be stable  before having surgery?
Most individuals by the age of 20-21 have reached a point at which their glasses prescription will remain relatively stable.  We have treated patients 18-80+ years of age with LASIK and I-Lasik.

Is the I-Lasik surgery painful?

We use anesthetic eye drops which eliminate all pain during the I-Lasik procedure.  Additionally, we have each patient take a valium pill prior to surgery to help them relax and feel less nervous during surgery.

How soon can i have the surgery performed?

Most individuals report that their eyes feel and see normal by the first day after LASIK and I-Lasik.  Over 90% of individuals are capable of returning to work the day after I-Lasik.

What is our success rate with the I-Lasik treatment?

Our overall success rate with I-Lasik is approximately 95-98%.

Is the surgery permanent?

Yes, the results of I-Lasik and LASIK are permanent. For more details please see Lasik laser in delhi

How soon can I return to daily life after surgery?

Please consult with your surgeon to schedule your preferred day for surgery. What are the long-term effects of I-Lasik, Lasik or prk?The 19 year follow-up of patients undergoing laser vision correction procedures (PRK and LASIK) is very stable. Eyes that have undergone LASIK and/or I-Lasik age normally.  Though I-Lasik is newer technology, it uses the same surgical principals as LASIK.  Therefore the long-term behavior of eyes that have had LASIK and I-Lasik is the same.
